Strategic Power Systems, Inc. ® (SPS) is pleased to announce that QinetiQ, a UK based company, has been selected to support the expansion and extension of the ORAP® family of products and services to energy companies in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Charlotte, North Carolina – January 29, 2008 -- SPS has a strong desire, as well as a customer requirement to increase the number of participating energy companies and individual units in the ORAP system, both gas and steam turbines. SPS is committed to increasing participation levels for new product offerings and existing technologies to ensure that the ORAP data provides valuable, timely, and accurate Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) information across the power generation and oil and gas markets.

QinetiQ recognizes that our relationship with our clients and the on-going value of ORAP requires and relies on maintaining confidentiality and non-disclosure relationships. They appreciate the role of the ORAP system as an unbiased third party resource in a competitive energy market. As such, QinetiQ will be held to the same standards of confidentiality and propriety as is SPS, and will provide a service to SPS that is fully compliant with our existing customer relationships.
