SPS International (UK) Ltd.
I am pleased to announce that effective immediately SPS has established an operating office in the United Kingdom.  SPS International (UK) Ltd. has been put in place to represent SPS in the global market, and to support our existing client base of original equipment manufacturers, and equipment owner/operators.  SPS International (UK) Ltd. will focus their efforts on increasing ORAP® participation across all gas and steam turbine technologies, applications, duty cycles, and plant arrangements, as well as introducing SPS’ portfolio of asset management products and services to the growing base of global customers.  Concurrent to this announcement, SPS is also pleased to introduce the SPS International (UK) Ltd. management team; Jon Willis as the Associate Managing Director and Greg Alexander as the Sales Director.

Jon Willis has over 20 years of experience working for Rolls-Royce Industrial Controls, Schlumberger Anadrill, and most currently with Data Systems & Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rolls-Royce.  In his current role as a Global Account Manager with DS&S, Jon worked to support the extension of Unit Health Monitoring products and Services across Rolls-Royce Energy’s operating fleet.  His experience includes design engineering, direct support of off-shore North Sea platforms, and account management and leadership in predictive services.  Jon is a Chartered Engineer, an Associate Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and holds an Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Greg Alexander joins SPS from his current role in QinetiQ as Business Development Manager for the power market.  Greg has over 28 years of experience ranging from turbomachinery test and development work as an Engineering Technician for the National Engineering Laboratory (NEL) in Scotland, to account and product development management for TÜV Energy Service, a subsidiary of TÜV Süddeutschland, to his current position with QinetiQ.  He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Strathclyde in the UK.
