Participants in the Base ORAP program receive this valuable information on a quarterly basis. Information is provided not only on your unit(s), but aggregate data on the fleet of comparable units in the global marketplace is also provided.
How it works
On a monthly basis, participants enter or submit event, operational and counter information to SPS. There are several required inputs for the type of data that is needed. SPS can provide an outline of these inputs if desired. Once received by SPS personnel, the data is reviewed and validated. After it has been validated, the submitted data is stored in the central ORAP database.To ensure consistency across different plant designs, OEMs and equipment types; standard Equipment Breakdown Structure (EBS) codes are used within Base ORAP.
What do owner/operators receive for participating?
Participants receive a quarterly benchmarking report that provides Base ORAP participants a current and historical perspective of power plant performance measured against aggregate fleet performance.
