Why do I have to track cycles? 

All gas turbines have critical parts with established life limits. Critical parts life management is a reliability concern that requires an information and logistics solution.  This consideration is focused on the fact that critical life-limited parts must be removed from service before reaching their declared life limit.

• Automated Cycles Tracking
  • A local data collection unit called Remote Data Collection (RDC), is installed at the site
  • RDC automatically detects and logs every full, partial and trip cycle as it occurs
  • RDC then transfers the logged cycles data, via the Internet, to the SPS Data Center where Accumulated Cycles calculations are performed and applied to the appropriate parts
